ETS and Digital Chosun, the online business division of The Chosun Ilbo, one of South Korea’s most widely circulated newspapers, announced that they have entered into an agreement whereby Digital Chosun will exclusively distribute TOEFL Practice Online (TPO) in South Korea. This agreement includes the appointment of Digital Chosun as an ETS Preferred Vendor, with a three-year deal to exclusively distribute TPO.

TESOL and Franklin Electronic Publishers, the US-based worldwide leader in language learning products, announced the first annual English as a Foreign/Additional Language Spelling Tournament for students outside of the US. Next spring preliminary rounds will be conducted to determine the participants for the final round of the tournament scheduled to be held in August 2009 in New York City.
