黄金法则:广播节目主持与公众演讲的共同点
作者:Andrew Thompson: BBC国际台英语
GOLDEN rules for oral presentation:
Be interested
Be interested in the subject even if you are not interested.
Accents
Regional and foreign accents are generally not a problem as long as you can be understood.
Clarity
The audience hates lazily pronounced words. Pronouncing words correctly and clearly is an important part of telling stories.
Scripting
Try to make your script sound like spoken English and use natural speech rhythms.
Emphasis
To emphasise certain words, try:
— lengthening or shortening words
— changing the pitch on a word
— pausing before a word
— going louder on a word
Posture
Check your posture when delivering a speech — slumping can lead to a flat sound.
Breathing
If you don’t breathe naturally you’ll sound tense.
