Educational Testing Service based in US recently launched “Business English Now”, an audio program designed for intermediate to advanced learners of business English. The program includes 2.5 hours of audio materials, a full CD transcript and flash cards that help learners improve their listening, vocabulary and idiomatic expression through dialogues and exercises related to common business subjects.

THE French education minister recently announced the plans to offer high school students optional intensive seminars in English-language training during school vacations. He insists that speaking fluent English is the key to success. The policy marks a break from the traditional strategy of promoting the French language. However, the plans were criticized by the main teaching union in France.
