“ZHU Jianqiang” was named China’s most inspirational (感动人心的) animal of 2008. “Zhu Jianqiang” or “Strong-Willed Pig” became famous after he survived (幸存) the May 12 Wenchuan Earthquake. The pig won the award (奖项) in an online vote (投票), beating six dogs, a bird, a turtle and a cat.
