MEMBERS of the US Republican party aren't the only people impressed by Barack Obama's use of social networking in the recent presidential election. According to Wired.com, terrorists noticed, too. They reportedly want to use online social tools like Facebook and the real-time blog Twitter to spread their message and perhaps even plan attacks. "We can use Facebook to fight the media," read one post on an extremist forum, quoted by Wired. "We can post media on Facebook that shows the Crusader losses. American politicians have used Facebook to get votes, like the house slave Obama." Meanwhile, a recent US Army report published on the Federation of the American Scientists website suggests that terrorists might use Twitter to monitor the movement of local police.
