INDIA's nationalists have a history of battling Coca-Cola and Pepsi in the country's drinks market. Now they're planning to release their own drink. Its key ingredient? Cow urine. "Don't worry," Om Prakash, of the group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), told the London Times. "It won't smell like urine and will be tasty. It's [also] going to be very healthy." In this largely Hindu nation, cows are revered. Even cow dung is valued for its use as a fuel and as a disinfectant. Although Coke and Pepsi remain popular, the RSS accuses them of putting pesticides in their drinks. The companies deny the charges. Prakash is confident the new cow drink will fare well in the local market. "We're going to give them good competition as our drink is good for mankind," he said. "We may also think of exporting it."
