WE have a new world record! Last Thursday, a 28-year-old Indian mother named Anandita Dutta Tamuly ate 51 "ghost *chili" peppers in two minutes to set a new Guinness World Record. The ghost chili is considered the world’s spiciest pepper, with more than 1 million Scoville units, the scientific measurement for spiciness. An ordinary jalapeno pepper – in case you’re wondering – has between 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville units.
