THE economic recession is, sadly, forcing some wealthy French to pawn valuable family heirlooms. The non-profit state pawnbroker says business is up 30 percent, according to The Guardian. People are lining up to pawn clocks, jewelry, stamp collections, paintings, even expensive wines.
