Working together across the water

HU Jintao, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with Wu Poh-hsiung, Taiwan Kuomintang (KMT) chairman last Tuesday. The two promised to start talks on an economic cooperation pact (经济合作协议).
