RUSSIAN researcher Alexey Pajitnov was just 29 when he created what The Guardian newspaper recently called "the videogame that conquered the world". Tetris (俄罗斯方块), which turned 25 last week, has sold more than 70 million copies around the world. The game requires players to direct falling blocks into empty spaces. Users are given points for completing rows, which then disappear.
