THE US imposed a tariff on Chinese rubber tire exports, accusing it of dumping on September 11. In response, on September 13, China launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidies investigation into automotive and chicken exports from the US. China said the US was violating World Trade Organization (WTO) rules and that it was about to appeal.
