AMERICANS are accustomed to hearing foul language at the movies. Most “bad words” have been uttered so often by villains under duress, or heroes facing extinction, that moviegoers barely hear them. Except, perhaps, for one: cunt – a nasty, disparaging word for a woman. So when the 11-year-old star of the new film Kick-Ass uses it, America notices.
