Does anyone say 'You're welcome' anymore?

COMMON courtesy used to demand that people in the US reply “You’re welcome” when someone thanks them for something. Nowadays, however, many Americans simply say, “No problem”. This shift has some people, like Salon.com’s Matt Zoller Seitz, feeling a little cranky. Seitz argues that “No problem” is a far less polite reply.
