At the 63rd Cannes Film festival in May this year she wore a bright yellow robe embroidered (刺绣) with two leaping dragons (龙) to make herself stand out. She’ll be stealing the show again later this year. Fan has been invited to shoot a video to promote Chinese culture abroad. In the video she will be dressed in a specially designed gown (长袍). Sina reports that an entire blue-and-white porcelain (瓷) vase, with a phoenix (凤凰) and magpie pattern, will feature on the gown.
