I am a hard-working person now. I used to be very different. Almost daily I would cause my parents great worry by refusing to do my homework until the last minute. They were patient with me – and I’m very grateful for that. But today I pay attention to my work. My schoolwork is much better as a result. I made a decision one day, after I got the lowest mark in the math test in the whole class. I’ve given up “putting off until tomorrow what I could do today”. But even though I changed, it took a long time for people to notice that I was no longer lazy. Then one day, to everyone’s surprise, I got top mark in the math test!
