DIRTY politics just got dirtier in a small Peruvian town where a mayor (市长) is considering reelection in October. Unknown thieves sent a ransom (勒索赎金) note via cell phone text message to San Cristobol Mayor Rogelio Vizcarra. They had his father’s skull. Luckily, Juan Vizcarra, Rogelio’s father, has been dead since 1978. But his bones were dug up and the skull stolen. The thieves wrote that they would only return the skull if Vizcarra agreed to drop out of the election.
