A WOMAN, who owed (欠) money to a local bank in Primorye, Russia, had to give up her most valuable (贵重的) possession (物品): her pig. Local court (法院) officers have taken her pig and put it up for sale to get back some of the money. The pig was taken away after the woman failed to comply (遵守) with a court order to pay off her debt (债务) within 10 days. A court survey of her property found it to be her most valuable piece of property. At the moment the pig is awaiting a buyer.
