TEN-YEAR-OLD Texas boy Zilan Fitch was angry that his parents had punished him. He got his own back (报复) by stealing his mom’s SUV and driving it straight into rush hour traffic. He was involved in a minor accident but no one was injured. He was finally pulled over by police, handcuffed (戴上手铐的), arrested, and charged with unauthorized (未经许可的) use of a motor vehicle. Fitch did not seem to quite understand the damage he could have done. When asked what he learned from the event, Fitch answered: “In jail you have to sleep on metal beds.”
