I’m not a fan of Starbucks, or Costa Coffee or any of these coffeehouse franchises.

For one thing, I don’t like coffee enough to pay 35 yuan for a cup. But if I did, I would feel entitled to plug in my laptop, charge my cell phone and hog a table for six hours.
