THE Netherlands is famous for being a very flat country. Recently Dutch (荷兰的) journalist Thijs Zonneveld joked on his blog that Dutch people should build a 2,000-meter mountain. The idea soon caught on. Several Dutch engineering (工程) groups, including Oranjewoud and Bartels, are planning to build the mountain. They hope that the man-made mountain will be a tourist destination (目的地) for skiers and all Dutch people across the flat Netherlands.
