RAYNA Garrett of Kansas City first tried to drive around the man walking in the middle of Highway 71 early this month. But then the man jumped onto the hood (引擎罩) of her car. Dionette L. Price had a gun and pointed it at Garrett through her windshield (挡风玻璃). He told her: “Drive.” And she did – to the closest police station. Garrett drove two miles (3.2 kilometers). All the time Price was riding on the hood of her car. Finally she put him onto the police station driveway. She crashed (撞) her car into the station’s garage door in order to knock Price off the car and honked (按喇叭) to alert (警告) police inside. Price was later arrested and he did not cause trouble.
