WHEN Rayna Garrett of Kansas City tried to drive around a man walking in the middle of Highway 71 early this month, the man jumped onto the hood (发动机盖) of her car. Dionette L. Price had a gun and pointed it at Garrett through the windshield (挡风玻璃). He demanded that she “drive”. And she did – to the closest police station. Garrett drove two miles (3.2 kilometers) with Price riding on the hood of her car and dropped him onto the police station driveway. She crashed her car into the station’s garage door in order to knock Price off the car and honked (按汽车喇叭) to alert police inside. Price was later arrested without incident.
