FIREFIGHTER Jamie Giese is trained in mouth-to-mouth resuscitation (复苏). But he never thought he’d have to perform it on a dog. Late last month in Wasau, Wisconsin, US, firefighters pulled an unconscious (没有意识的) dog out of a burning building. Giese was able to revive (使……苏醒) the dog using “mouth-to-nose” resuscitation. Fellow firefighters then fit the dog with an oxygen mask (氧气罩) and rushed it to hospital.
