The 18-year-old high school student is struggling with leukemia (白血病). McGuire’s elder sister launched (推出) a Facebook page asking Swift to go to the school prom (舞会) with her sick brother. More than 23,000 people liked the Facebook page. The benevolent Swift replied that she could not make the prom but would invite McGuire to the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1. “I can’t wait to meet you,” McGuire said.
