A HUSBAND wanted to prove to his wife that women talk more than men. He showed her a study which indicated (表明) that men use an average of 15,000 words a day, whereas (然而) women use 30,000 words a day. His wife thought about this for a while. Then she told her husband that women use twice as many words as men because they have to repeat everything they say.
