AN English teacher often wrote little notes on her students’ essays (短文). One night she was working late. As the hours went by, her handwriting got worse and worse. The next day a student came to her after class with an essay she had corrected. “I can’t make out this comment you wrote on my paper.” The teacher took the paper. After squinting at (斜眼看) it for a minute, she replied embarrassedly, “It says that you need to write more legibly (清楚地)!”
