YOU wake up at 7:30 to see golden bed curtains, golden walls and crystal lights (水晶灯) shining in the morning sun. Around you are paintings by famous artists. Followed by servants (仆人) and doctors, you walk through two rooms, a guardroom and a lobby (大厅), each more beautiful than the last. Through the windows you see your huge garden, full of trees, flowers, statues (雕像) and fountains. This was the morning routine of French King Louis XVI at his home, the Palace of Versailles.
