LOS Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant competed with a group of Chinese actors and singers including Jay Chou and JJ Lam at a charity event in Shanghai on August 18. The 34-year-old didn’t play in the first half until his team fell behind. His impressive play helped his team score 68 points in 15 minutes. Besides basketball, Bryant also played electric guitar. Jay Chou said he was shocked that Bryant played so well. This event raised more than 2.6 million yuan, and this money will be used for the building and improving of basketball facilities (设施) for poor children in China.
