ONLY a handful of actresses from the Chinese mainland have gained fame in the West – most notably (引人注目地) Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi. Now they are about to be joined by another star, Zhou Xun, who appears in a new Hollywood action movie called Cloud Atlas (《云图》).
