A FEW days ago, no British tennis player had won a Grand Slam title since 1936 (A Grand Slam tournament is any one of the four most famous in world tennis: Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the French Open, and the US Open). On September 11, that all changed when Andy Murray ended the 76 years of hurt. Murray beat Novak Djokovic of Serbia to win the US Open final in five sets. It was also the 25-year-old’s first Grand Slam trophy (奖杯). “I am just so relieved to finally have got there and I can put this one behind me and hopefully win more,” Murray said after his win.
