EVER since this summer, many cities where Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao had his concerts have been hit by heavy rain. On July 21, Hsiao held a concert in Beijing. That day, the city saw the most rain in 61 years. A big typhoon hit Shanghai on Aug 8 when Hsiao’s Shanghai concert started to sell tickets. The same thing happened consecutively (连续地) in other cities including Xiamen, Nanjing and Tianjin. These funny coincidences have led Hsiao’s fans to nickname their idol “the God of Rain”. Hsiao, 25, is going to release his fourth album in mid-November.
