This comedy is an *adaptation of the 2006 Broadway musical of the same name. Despite a silly script, *bland leads and awful *wigs, it is fun to rediscover the 1980s’ rock scene in Los Angeles. Tom Cruise’s performance as fictional rock star Stacee Jaxx is interesting to watch.
