A *marathon on Sunday in Guangzhou once again put young people’s health into the *spotlight. During the event, two young runners suffered *cardiac arrests. One of them, 21-year-old college student Chen Jie, died, the Yangcheng Evening News reported. The marathon attracted more than 20,000 Chinese and overseas runners. Around 900 of them felt unwell, with symptoms such as feeling sick and dizzy or suffering *cramps. Most of the *ailing runners were aged 20-35, according to the newspaper.
