MCKAYLA Maroney, 16, is an American gymnast (体操运动员). She won a silver medal at the London Olympics this summer. On the medal podium (领奖台), Maroney gave a quick look of disappointment and pursed her lips to the side (嘴撅到一边). Reporters caught the face in a picture and it quickly became an Internet hit. People named the photo “McKayla is not impressed”. Last month, Maroney met US President Barack Obama with the US gymnastics team at the White House. She and President Obama posed (摆姿势) for a photo together, both making the same “not impressed” look.
