Drinking tea in the South

I HEARD that drinking morning tea is the most distinctive (独特的) characteristic of Cantonese tea culture. So I couldn’t wait to give it a try. At about eight o’clock in the morning, the tea restaurant was full of gray-haired people who were leisurely enjoying their breakfast. They were sitting around tables, chatting, drinking tea or reading newspapers. My friend and I arrived late so we had to share a table with strangers. Actually, morning tea refers to dim sum (点心) accompanied by tea. So having morning tea is also called “eating morning tea” in Guangdong.
