Since Xing Juan, a finance major, obtained her master’s degree two years ago, she has been working at the department of finance in a Beijing-based public institution. Compared with her starting salary of around 3,000 yuan, she is fairly satisfied with her current pay – 6,000 yuan, People’s Daily reported on May 31.
