Siegel’s Wall Street Journal article generated many responses from educators and students. A post on blog website TheGradStudent.com agrees that poor teaching kills students’ enjoyment of literature. But it says this should be an important reason to call for reform and better teaching of literature, instead of taking literature completely out of the college curriculum.
