China launches mission to the moon
CHINA has launched (发射) its first-ever unmanned moon landing mission, a milestone (里程碑) for its space program.
Chang’e-3 was sent from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province on Dec 2. It is expected to land on the moon in mid-December.
