In Her, Samantha’s knowledge quickly evolves and she and other AIs make the decision to say goodbye to humans in their quest for more knowledge. Near the end of the movie, Theodore asks where Samantha is going. Her response is: “It’s hard to explain, but if you get there, come find me. Nothing will be able to tear us apart then.”
