Tiny beads pose giant threat to animals
Microbeads are tiny plastic balls used to exfoliate the skin in shower gels and facial scrubs.
They are less than 1 mm in diameter. They are washed down sinks and are too small to be filtered at *sewage plants, ending up in rivers and oceans.
