IN 1994, ballroom dance (交谊舞) teacher Pierre Dulaine helped create Dancing Classrooms in New York City. The 10-week program gives ballroom dancing lessons to fifth-and eighth-graders to help kids build confidence and learn teamwork. Because of the program’s success, Dulaine is taking Dancing Classrooms all over the world. His efforts (努力) to bring the classes to Jewish Israeli (犹太以色列人) and Palestinian Israeli (巴勒斯坦以色列人) fifth-graders in his hometown of Jaffa, Israel, are recorded in the new film Dancing in Jaffa.
