There have been illegal gatherings, called the “Occupy Central” movement, in Hong Kong since Sept 28. “Central” refers to the central business district of Hong Kong. The protests in the busiest areas of the special administrative region (SAR) of China have led to traffic *disruptions, *suspension of schools and banks, and affected the region’s economy and social stability.
