IN Macao, we don’t have a joint (联合的) entrance examination. Each university in Macao has its own admissions system. So we have to take exams in different subjects according to the major we apply to study. Because of this, the students have to review many materials and take different universities’ entrance exams. This is actually quite stressful (有压力的) for us. Studying in Taiwan is also quite popular among Macao students. Their entrance exam is in April. Only a few students would like to apply for universities in Hong Kong or abroad, because the tuition fees (学费) are often too expensive or it’s too hard to get admitted.
