Eddie Huang was born in 1982 in Washington, DC to immigrants from Taiwan. After being laid off from a New York law firm, Huang worked as a stand-up comic and *marijuana dealer. He later opened BaoHaus, a Taiwanese bun shop and became a celebrity chef.
