WHAT scary looking creatures (生物)! But look a little closer and you’ll be able to relax. They’re just humans. The two women are taking part in the Leipzig Book Fair (书展) in Germany on March 14. But they’re no ordinary bookworms (普通的书虫), because they’re cosplayers (角色扮演者). The word cosplay is made up of the words “costume (戏服)” and “play”. Fans dress up as their favorite fictional characters (虚拟角色). They often get together with other cosplayers and role-play to recreate their world of fantasy (幻想). |  |
