Dress up for sports

A SPORTS meeting is where sports lovers show their talents, and the opening ceremony is a big party for everyone. At my school’s opening ceremony this year, students showed up in various different costumes. All the students in a Senior 2 class became ancient scholars. Dressed in traditional costumes, they carried string-bound (线装书) books, paper fans, pipa, and many other traditional items. Their performance drew attention from everyone at my school. Even the foreign teachers were amazed by them. Look at the picture. Don’t you feel like you’ve traveling back in time?
