A NEW world train speed record has been set after Japan’s fastest magnetically levitated train (磁悬浮列车), known as the maglev bullet train, hit a top speed of 603 kilometers per hour on a test run near Mount Fuji on April 21, reported The Guardian. The train broke its own record of 581 kilometers per hour set in 2003.
