Fudan University had to go through a series of scandals on the occasion of its 110th anniversary last week. At least two celebratory short films that the university produced for its birthday were alleged to have been copied from similar short films made by foreign universities. A university official in charge of producing the films originally denied any *plagiarism, but later admitted the producers had used a short film made by the University of Tokyo “for reference” . |  |
