HOW will you celebrate your graduation? Japanese students have their own way – they wash their desks and chairs. On Feb 22, third-grade students from Inuyama Junior High School did this in the cold river in Inuyama, Aichi, Japan. This event has been a school tradition for more than 60 years. It helps students appreciate the desks and chairs that accompanied them for three years. Students said they learned to show appreciation to others through it.
