McKellen puts self on market

LORD of the Rings star Sir Ian McKellen was in Shanghai on June 11 to discuss his Shakespeare work at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Aside from performing in a Shakespeare play with Chinese actor Jiao Huang at the festival, the 77-year-old veteran (经验丰富的) actor also went native and experienced the marriage market culture in Shanghai’s People’s Park. Every weekend, parents go to the park to search for a match for their children. McKellen made a humorous sign advertising himself as a prospective (预期的) mate, writing down some of his key features like “77 years”, “Cambridge University” and “house in London”.
